Working with acrylic paint on cradled wood panels, Don Fortenberry creates artwork of balance and tension. The geometric forms retain an evidence of being handmade. Vibrant colors often meet and harmonize, or at times, intentionally fail to harmonize. The result is a visual whole that is greater than its parts.
